The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on State Regulation in the Field of Gambling Business at the Second Reading

The Bill (Reg. No. 3535) defines legal principles of activity in the field of gambling business, the procedure of licensing and responsibility for violations in the said field.

The Bill also envisages foundation and functioning of the State Register of Gambling Establishments of Ukraine.

The Bill also increases the cost of a license for casino and gambling machines halls to 5 million UAH, and the owner shall pay 250 thousand UAH for every new hall. The Bill enhances the financial control regulations and increases the rates of penalties.
